Particle burden database
Hi all,
One of the changes to ISO 14644-4:2022 was to bring more focus to the importance of contamination risk assessment. Assessments should be carried out to better understand the contamination risk and its impact on the process and product. Makes perfect sense.
When we are doing initial budget costs and when designing for a new cleanroom user however, this data isn’t available.
We have good studies for the burden rates of gowned individuals which can be plugged straight into our calculations but I feel a table of generic process particle burdens could be really helpful.
Thinking out loud maybe this could be a CCN database where data can be added and accessed by members?
